UDC Drafting Directions Report Available for Review

The Drafting Directions Report for the Memphis and Shelby County Unified Development Code (UDC) is now available for public review. This report supplements the City’s previous work with a holistic assessment of the current Code and offers a strategic, targeted set of recommendations to guide the upcoming rewrite of the UDC.

The Stakeholder Advisory Committee reviewed the Drafting Directions Report at its March 19 meeting, and we’re now making it available to the public. While the report itself will not be revised, we welcome your feedback as we begin drafting the new UDC. Input submitted through the form on this website will help inform the development of the first full draft, which will be released for public comment later this year.
