It’s kind of a big deal.
The UDC contains Memphis and Shelby County’s rules for development, many of which are out-of-date and in need of simplification, modernization, and alignment with the community’s goals and priorities as set forth in our comprehensive plan - Memphis 3.0.
This important work will help to shape how our neighborhoods grow and develop into the future, making it easier to build the vibrant, welcoming city we all want to see.
